BMS4590P
In a conventional full range compression driver the phase plug must be located extremely close to the diaphragm, excursion of the diaphragm is limited and middle frequency performance is compromised. A typical 2" dome compression driver has a limited high frequency response. Over 8 kHz the dome diaphragm breaks up causing resonance and harsh, metallic sound. The BMS annular midrange diaphragm covers the frequency range between 400 and 7000 Hz with a smooth, linear response. The large diaphragm excursion of max. +/-0.8 mm results in high output and increased power handling up to 1300 W peak. The ultra light annular diaphragm for the high range offers exceptional transient response with very high efficiency from 6 to 22 kHz.
LF - 15W750
The 15W750 low frequency transducer meets the specific market demand for a loudspeaker which combines good linearity and efficiency with high power handling capabilities, containing a 75 mm Ø aluminum voice coil. Although primarily intended for use in tuned reflex enclosures, the versatile characteristics of the 15W750 render it suitable for a wide variety of enclosure types, particularly as a subwoofer or as a LF driver in 2 systems. When used in a 2-way system, we recommend a 1.4" or 2" exit compression driver in order to obtain the best sound quality. The deep profile curvilinear paper cone has been made using a special high strength wood pulp and designed to achieve the best possible linearity within its intended frequency range and to control bell-mode resonances around the cone circumference. The cone is carried by an unusually deep profile, triple-roll suspension formed of a linen-like material which is more resistant to aging and fatigue than the traditional cotton-based materials used in conventional surrounds. The 75 mm Ø aluminum voice coil employs the Interleaved Sandwich Voice coil (ISV) technology, in which a high strength fiberglass former carries windings on both the outer and inner surfaces to achieve a mass balanced coil. This results in an extremely linear motor assembly with a reduced tendency for eccentric behavior when driven hard. The magnetic structure has been optimized using our in-house FEA CAD resource that has maximized the flux density in the voice coil gap. Excellent heat dissipation has also been achieved by incorporating air channels between the basket and the magnetic top plate. Due to the increase in use of audio systems at outdoor events, the ability of the 15W750 to perform in adverse weather conditions or in areas of high humidity is a great advantage. This has been achieved using exclusive treatments which enable the cone and the magnetic plate to resist corrosion and render the cone water repellent at the same time.

18LW2400
The 18LW2400 is a high-performance 18-inch extended low-frequency loudspeaker, engineered for high-SPL subwoofer applications in reflex, bandpass, or horn-loaded enclosures. Building on the success of the industry-standard 18LW1400, the 18LW2400 delivers higher maximum SPL, increased program power handling, and reduced power compression, making it ideal for demanding professional sound reinforcement systems.
Designed for optimal performance with amplifiers capable of delivering 2400 W program power without clipping, the transducer features a large-displacement suspension system, a fiberglass-reinforced straight-ribbed cone, and Eighteen Sound’s proprietary Double Silicon Spider (DSS) technology. Together, these elements ensure ultra-linear piston motion and precise mechanical control across the entire operating range.
A 100 mm (4-inch) inside–outside copper voice coil, based on Interleaved Sandwich Voice Coil (ISV) technology, provides exceptional thermal stability and long-term durability. Power handling is further enhanced through advanced voice-coil ventilation technology derived from the flagship 9000 Series neodymium transducers. A low-density air diffractor integrated into the backplate acts as an efficient cooling system, significantly reducing power compression.
As a result, the 18LW2400 achieves nearly 1 dB lower full-power compression compared to the 18LW1400, along with an increased 2400 W program power rating. Sound quality is further refined through Double Demodulating Rings (DDR) embedded in the pole piece, reducing harmonic and intermodulation distortion while improving transient response.
Optimized magnetic structure design using advanced FEA CAD simulations results in a 10% reduction in overall weight without compromising performance. Built for reliability in challenging environments, the 18LW2400 features a specially treated cone with enhanced pulp strength and water-repellent properties, along with corrosion-resistant coatings on the top and back plates—ensuring consistent performance even under harsh weather conditions.

18NTLW5000
The 18NTLW5000 is a 18 inch diameter next generation high performance subwoofer, specifically designed for high SPL very low frequency applications in either a reflex, bandpass or horn loaded configuration. For optimum results we recommend the usage of power amplifiers able to deliver 4000W program power without clipping. The 18NTLW5000 uses Eighteen Sound proprietary Tetracoil technology, where two different, axially separated magnetic gaps and two inside-outside 4.5" diameter aluminum voice coils are wound on the same former and suspended evenly in the two magnetic gaps. The Tetracoil design key advantages are: 1) a symmetric flux density versus displacement behavior, that minimizes the even distortion products; 2) a very symmetric and flat inductance curve; 3) the equivalent voice coil diameter of a 4.6" Tetracoil speaker is greater than 6". Consequently heat dissipation occurs over a larger surface area, driving AES power handling up to 1800 W. 18NTLW5000 design features include a large displacement suspension system which, in conjunction with a fiberglass reinforced, straight ribbed cone allows an ultra-linear piston action and provides full mechanical control across the entire working range. In order to furtherly increase power handling and reduce power compression figure, a low density material air diffractor is placed into the backplate venting hole acting as a cooling system, increasing power handling capability and lowering the power compression figure. 18NTLW5000 is able to perform properly under inclement weather conditions: the exclusive cone treatment improves pulp strength and gives water repellent properties to both sides of the membrane. In addition, magnetic structure metal plates coating is far more resistant than standard zinc coating to the corrosive effects of salts and oxidization.

18SOUND 12W750
The 12W750 meets the specific market requirement for a loudspeaker which combines the excellent linearity, good efficiency and high power handling of the 15W750 model but in a 12 inch (300mm) chassis for use in more compact systems. It is primarily intended for application in compact reflex and band-pass enclosures but can also be used for horn loaded configurations. The curvilinear paper cone has been made from a special high strength woodpulp designed to achieve the best possible linearity within its intended frequency range and to control bell-mode resonances around the cone circumference. The cone is carried by an unusually deep profile, triple roll suspension made from a polycotton material which is more resistant to aging and fatigue than traditional cotton-based ones. The 75 mm (3 inch) diameter aluminum voice coil employs the Interleaved Sandwich Voice coil (ISV) technology, in which a high strength fiberglass former carries windings on both the outer and inner surfaces to achieve a mass balanced coil.
ND1460
The ND1460 1.4 inch exit neodymium high frequency compression driver has been designed for use in high quality sound systems. The pure titanium diaphragm is produced in house and has been developed to assure unmatched transient response. The diaphragm assembly is made by joining the former directly to the titanium dome using its upper bend edge. In comparison with a usual straight former joint, the driver design assures extended frequency energy transfer giving improved response linearity and unparallel reliability. This feature facilitates proper motion control of the dome in real working conditions. A proprietary treated Nomex former is used as Nomex shows a 30% higher value of tensile elongation at a working operative temperature (200°C) when compared to Kapton. Moreover, this proprietary former material is also suitable for use in high moisture content environments. By carefully using elementary pieces of neodymium magnets, Eighteen Sound engineers have developed a powerful neodymium magnet assembly capable of reaching 19KGauss in the gap in compact and lightweight structures. The motor structure, throughout the precisely coherent phase plug with 3 circumferential slots and copper ring on the pole piece, reduces inductance effects and distortion. Four top plate air ducts have been designed to act as a loading chamber for the diaphragm, implementing mid band distortion and response figures. The custom designed O-ring creates a tight seal between the plate and the cover assuring air chamber loading. Excellent heat dissipation and thermal exchange are guaranteed by the direct contact between the magnetic structure and the aluminum cover which leads to a lower power compression value. The ability of equipment to perform properly under inclement weather conditions is a key feature of the Eighteen Sound philosophy. Hence, a special treatment is applied to the magnet and the top and back plates of the magnetic structure which increases the ND1460 resistance to the corrosive effects of salts and oxidization. This treatment is more effective than any other treatment in use today.
